Not enough hours in the day

I wish that there were 26 hours in a day. By the time I go to bed, there are still 5 things that didn't get done!! This blog for example. I started it a while ago and I get to update it never! Ok, I'm being dramatic, but that's how it feels sometimes. We're in the process of doing so much at once, that not everything gets done. Maybe it gets better?

Phone headset

Someone once told me that cell phones cause cancer. Although this is probably true, so do a lot of other things. So I got this headset in hopes of the micro waves coming from my cell phone would be somehow blocked. Plus I thought the old school handset was pretty damn cute. I picked this up a while ago at Macy's. I've seen some really blinged out ones, but I'm very happy with my pink one. Has anyone else tried this?

Amazon purchase

So ever since I upgraded my phone, I have obsessed over cases- especially wallet cases. I love that there cases are multi functional and pretty. I found these on amazon. So, I am definitely into finding a bargain. These cases seem nice. My only problem with them is this--
1. Their smell is extremely strong. I don't know if its a different glue that they use in the U.S. but man as soon as you open the package, it gives you a headache. I've started to air them out for a few hours before I use it. The smell gets a bit more faint with time.
2. They take a couple of weeks to arrive- this stuff is mainly coming from China and Korea- it takes it sometime to get here. Also there is almost never a tracking number.
The pros of course are price. They are priced so low, you don't mind buying a few. I wonder if you'd just be better off buying one good one and calling it a day. What do you think?

The IPhone 5

I upgraded to the iPhone 5 because the 4s wasn't fast enough for me. I ended up having to replace a lot more than just the charger- I had to replace my cases. Tech candy is one of my new finds- I bought one of their cases for my 4s but I liked their collections for the 5 a lot better. The case itself comes in 3 pieces-- you get 2 silicone wraps and 1 hard shell. I had a small issue with my pink wrap and I am currently awaiting a replacement for it. But the cases seem solid, stylish and useful. I will update when I receive the replacement peace, but so far so good! I'm really liking the case! Good work tech candy!

The secret

As the new year begins, I feel compelled to share "The Secret." When I first saw the film, I felt like it was a whole lotta a non sense. But I watched it again...and again. And now I think the film has a great message! I think everyone can benefit from watching this because its positive and it does help keep you on a positive trajectory. The law of attraction is an amazing one-- even better if you can apply it in your life.

Life again

So now that my son has turned 1, life is continuing. I have so many ideas of what I want to do with my future, and so many fun things I want to plan with my son. And I also want to blog more! I have to thank blogger for giving me a start and a true taste for the world of blogging. It's a nice way to release creativity- and vent- all in one! I am in the process of so many different things! I'm preparing to go back to school, I would like to start a small business and I'd like to start crafting some more. And get organized. And there you have a small part of my universe :)

My son is turning one!!!

The other half and I are taking a small break from planning the baby's big 1!!!! He's such a sweet baby and really it took us no time at all to figure out the theme! We're doing the little prince--- as all little boys are!!! So we shall see how this turns out!
